Meet Natalie Hampton on Tuesday, March 7 at 3:30 pm in the Friends Room. Hear her story on why and how she used social media as a positive tool to reduce bullying and help students find welcoming groups to sit with in school lunchrooms. Teen Tech Week (March 5-11) is a national initiative sponsored by the National Library Association and YALSA with a focus on teens, their parents, and educators. Documentary Film Screening “Reunification” with Filmmaker, Alvin Tsang Filmmaker Alvin Tsang shares his documentary film, “Reunification,” a personal narrative on his family’s immigration to Los Angeles from Hong Kong offering insight into the financial and emotional struggles of contemporary migration and the issue of divorce and its effects on children. The film will be screened on Sunday, February 26 at 2 pm in the Friends Room with post-screening discussions with the filmmaker.
